Alvin Police Department

The Alvin Police Department is located at 1500 South Gordon Street, in Alvin, Texas. We enjoy a population of around 23,000 and are located in the northern end of Brazoria County, about 20 minutes south of Houston. Our police facility was designed by Brinkley-Sargent Architects of Dallas, and was constructed by DYAD Construction Company, of Houston.

Our facility features 23,000 square feet, a state-of-the-art detention facility, a complete Emergency Operations Command center, 800 MHz communications system and easy access to some of our most requested services; Crime Prevention, Victims Assistance and Police Records offices.
